the net of His love

This painting was born out of meditation on these words. We often think that we are the ones searching for God. But sometimes it is He who seeks us first—quietly, patiently, through encounters, circumstances, moments of joy, and even through trials. He casts the net of His love into the stormy sea of human life, not to imprison us, but to save us. Each fish in my painting represents a unique human soul, with its own story, wounds, hopes, and the freedom to choose. God knows every one of them by name. To Him, there is no faceless crowd—only people of immeasurable worth. The net is a symbol of God's calling. It does not hold anyone by force. Rather, it gathers those who respond to the Creator's voice and allow themselves to be led out of the depths of fear, loneliness, and darkness into the light of new life. At the center of the composition is the ancient Christian symbol, the Ichthys (ΙΧΘΥΣ), reminding us that everything begins with Christ and ultimately returns to Him.
